Thai Stretch aka Total Body Stretch is an energizing and balancing treatment where the practitioner uses rhythmic and constant flow of movements on the client. This flow of movements blend passive yoga poses, acupressure, reflexology and deep stretching all in one session.
The Thai Yoga practice traces back to ancestral Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic medicines and the focus of each session is on meridian or energy lines within the body. Thai Yoga encourages the flow of energy, bringing balance and harmony to the body.
When doing Thai Yoga, the practitioner uses their hands, feet, elbows, forearms and knees while the client lies passively on a mat on the floor. The practice uses no oils, as it is done on top of clothing.
